With an obvious gift for expounding the Word of God orally, the author develops the subject of the Assembly (or Church) in great depth. This document constitutes a remarkable reference work. There are numerous critical explanations there, all based on the Word.

It has nothing to do with any event, it speaks to the hearts of true believers and rekindles their affections for the Lord, the Bridegroom who comes “soon”.

Faced with the ruin of the church and the impossibility of conforming their walk to the Word, they understood that God was asking them to go “outside the camp” (Heb. 13:13). They realized the freedom of the action of the Spirit among the believers thus gathered, outside of any ministry instituted by men. The clarity of their teaching, always based on Scripture, and their energy in upholding the truth in all controversies, invite us to pay attention to the values they defended, because they were not trained in the school of men. “The Lord, the God of Israel, before whom I stand,” said Elijah (1 Kings 17:1), he had prepared them.
