The point made in this article is essentially aimed at the erroneous teaching that salvation follows baptism and is even used for the purpose of giving salvation! It is instructive to see the firmness with which the author refutes this false teaching which affects the purity of the gospel, and at the same time the sobriety of his remarks on the subject of infant baptism.
